I coordinated this campaign to launch Secrid newest version of the Cardslide. An animation by the amazing Reinier Flaes formed the basis for the campaign. Based on the style we created for this movie I designed a product page and flyer to promote it. Check out the site over here!
This is my latest commissioned piece for a contest called artcadia. They insisted on a chameleon being used in the illustration. So I was able to sneak it in to the boarder eating all kinds of insects. The illustration was given as a 100 by 100 cm print for the winners together with a trip to Berlin!

Combining the sliding motion of the cardprotector with our love for traveling created these city explorations. We tried to loop every video in a new way to keep them surprising!
A dream became true on this assignment designing my first real record jacket! We made this album cover for a dutch poprock band called fexet. As we new the album name "the Airportguys" we started gathering idea's around this thema. The final x-ray concept kept a lot of room open to sneak in jokes, like the kidnaped jakuza trying to call his mom. And the crocodile eating the missing karaoke mic.
Together with my good buddy Leon, we created this animation for a company called Mental Health Training (MHT). Explaining the importance of having a positive state of mind combined with a healthy way of living.
After graduating from the Willem de Kooning Academy together with my friend Michael we got a chance to work for SECRED. As they where about to debut a new product in their range of wallets we where asked to make a promotional video for this Cardslide. Inspired by the names of the colour variants we made a fly true all these cities.
As Michael and I ware making our graduation movie, we both decided to make a original movie poster for our movie. Mine represents the world we created for the film. I screen printed it myself on an blue paper with dark blue and a orange layer of paint.
I created this personal project after seeing an amazing old collection of record jackets. While scrolling true the pages I started thinking about creating a bunch of fake record jackets about my creative proces. Watch them all on my Instagram! Some of them got a animated version check them out here.
Extended the Record jacket project into the realms of animation. As I was looking for ways to experiment with new animation techniques these illustrations were the perfect way to do it. As I was trying to make each animation better as the previous one, they took me longer and longer to make. For the last one I designed a lot of additional illustrations to make more of a story. All sound effects were personely recorded in and around the house.
Each year all students from de Willem de Kooning acedemy are asked to design the art poster for the famous Rotterdam jazz festival "North Sea Jazz". The one I made was selected in to the top ten and got a unofficial 4th prize!
After graduation Michael and I where asked to make the flyer for Willem de Kooning's portfolio evening. As its a moment were critical eyes are laid at students portfolios we converted that to our cartoony world. In this project I primarily focused on making the typography.

Designed this poster for the 15th anniversary of my neighborhood. Being part of the first wave of residents living at in this complex I saw it grow and enjoyed a very happy youth there. The poster was screen-printed on 300grams paper in black, red and yellow.
